What raises the obvious question? Brother married a Japanese woman (like Lennon et al.). They seen too many western women fail where a Japanese woman succeeds.Even if she dates or gets married to a western man. Japanese men themselves and many other foreign men may like American or western women in appearance. Maybe due to the ubiquitous presence in international Media,publicity and other propagandas,but would not even SERIOUSLY consider them for a girlfriend,less for all the way,as Wife. And not even their own mothers(!!) would have that "feminine wisdom unfailing instinct" in the sake of a western woman for their offspring. Open Question: How do I download Sims 2 custom content?

I'm a beginner at this, so go easy on me. x] The problem is, I've been using some tutorials and I guess I got pretty far. I just need the content to show up in game play. I downloaded all body shop features, no furniture of households or anything. My questions to you are: --In my Sims 2 folder, there originally was no 'Downloads' folder. Is it alright is I make a new folder called 'Downloads' and put all my custom content in there? --I heard from one tutorial that putting the custom content into the 'Collections' folder is fine, yet it doesn't work. Should it work?no furniture or* houses or anything. more

Open Question: Where can I get my motorcycle repainted in LA?

Ive driven over 100 miles today to about 4 different body shops, none of which service motorcycles, Ive checked online, and the only motorcycle paint shops I can find are Harley Davidson style, as in they are these really fancy and elaborate custom paint jobs. I just want to know if anyone knows where I could get my Yamaha YZF 600 repainted to its stock color, please list any that are near LA (cheap or expensive, I just need to find one) more

Open Question: Where do you like to shop?

We Ponsonby-Smythes have always been quite partial to shopping at Harrods. The caviar on sale there is quite the most delicious one can taste. But ever since that ghastly man took over ownership of the place daddy refuses to give them his custom any more and we're now forced to shop at Fortnum and Mason where the caviar isn't so delicate on our palates. I've heard that a lot of people these days like to shop at places like Tesco and Asda and other such low rent food emporia. Where do you like to shop for weekly provisions? im waiting to play them both to compare to the fender mexican strat because it will be one of those il buy. Ive been waiting a month to play the PRS because for some reason they are taking ages to be delivered to the shop. should've been here two weeks ago. Just wondering what your opinions are on them. It is always....ALWAYS super hard shopping for my dad cause he rarely wants anything! He's into musicianship and he's a bass player but already has like two, an amp, and a bunch of tapes. A friend of mine is getting him a boat load of shoes, colones, a trip to a spa, dinner, and a bunch of custom wears. Tag that on with two expensive watches. So he's set cosmetically. Open Question: comparing and contrasting the Christmas customs in Spain (including New Year's) to Christmas in the US?

Info on spain They explained to me that January 6th is Three Kings Day (El Día de los Reyes) and the day for exchanging gifts. The Kings visit the homes of children on the night of January 5th. The children leave their shoes filled with straw (for the camels to eat) and in turn, the kings leave gifts for the children. This is symbolic of the kings that visited the Christ child in the manger. They then pointed at a bakery. In the window there were all of these breads, in the shapes of circles. They told me that they were called Three Kings Bread (Roscón de Reyes). They explained that inside each bread ring there is a toy. Whoever gets the slice of bread with the toy (or trinket) inside, will have good luck for a year! My next question was that if Three King's Day was so important, what about Christmas Day itself? What is the difference between this and Christmas Eve? This is what they told me: "Christmas Eve (Nochebuena or "Good Night") begins the Christmas celebration in Spain. Spain is a very devout Roman Catholic country so one will see nativity scenes (Nacimientos) everywhere. Open Question: Custom and Immigration Inspection when entry to US?

I recently came back US from Europe after a business trip. The Officer at port asked me how much I spent and what I brought back. I told him I bought 180 dollarts goods at Duty shop, a carton of cigarett and a couple of Cigar for my friend. He marked my custom form which I didn't realize. When I reached the Custom check point. I was told there was a letter C marked and I had to go through another inspection. This time the officer was pretty nice. He told me I shouldn't bring Cuba cigar in. Since qty was low, he would not make a big deal about it. My question is what differnt letter means on the Custom form, how they decided what letter to put on, and what impacts they might have on my future trips through the border. Open Question: I want to open a Baby Boutique, how should I start?

I would like to open a baby boutique in a well trafficked downtown surrounded by many other shops. There is not one baby store/boutique, but many antique shops and adult boutiques. This area is hopping during the week and weekends. I would do gift registry, bedding, clothing, strollers/highchairs. diaper bags, and possibly a small amount of maternity clothing. I will carry sizes up 5T for children just in case the parents wanted matching outfits for pictures. I would also carry custom bedding. If you have any ideas please let me know... I started doing some pretty high end shows recently. And I guess my breeches weren't good enough. So I went to a tack shop to get some danskins custom made. Before getting measured the attendant said, "this isn't going to work in jeans." She walked back to a stockroom and told me to come. She said take 'em off and I'll be quick. So I got measured in my underwear out of the view of customers, but full view of all the staff. I know it's for the good of my job, and I have pretty conservative underwear on. But I gotta admit I got a little red faced. What do you think about this?No, nobody made comments. But there was male staff around. more

Open Question: Photo shop Help Please!?

I am hoping someone can help me here. I have a custom designed birthday invitation in a jpeg file that was made for my daughter's birthday using the program photo shop. I want to edit this invitation for my others daughter's upcoming birthday party so I can use the same design, without redesiging. I need to remove all text and replace one photograph for another. Is this possible to do? I have photo shop elements 7.0 photo shop 7.0 and photo Impact pro 13 I am not sure which would be best! I am new to all programs and when trying to remove any text with the eraser tool it is removing the hole background as well. I just want to edit/remove original text which seems to be impossiable and frustrating. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :-) more

Resolved Question: building a 1967 mustang from scratch (well...a body shell) costs involved?

I am looking to purchase a 1967 mustang body shell, it costs about $9000. what i would like to do with this car, is add a relatively traditional interior, nothing too "custom", i'd like the engine to be a 351 windsor, 4 wheel disk brakes, and keep most of the other parts original. suspension set up, etc. this car is going to be a daily driver, and will not be taken to race. perhaps a show or 2, but never racing or museum quality, so not all the parts need to be the best money can buy. can anyone give me an approximate estimate as to the total cost of the finished product? also, would it be wise/more cost efficient to have all the components installed by a regular mechanic, and then have it taken to a resto shop to have all components tuned, painted, etc. or just have it all done at the resto shop? 1 more thing, i wouldn't mind sticking a modified "Eleanor" body kit on it, does anyone know how much one of those kits goes for?EDIT: and no it won't be cheaper to buy something already completed, as most of the ones people have already completed do not have the engine i want, nor the 4 wheel disk brake, so if i wanted to convert this it would cost even more. and most of the vehicles already completed have been restored in a dodgy manner, and if you want a full rotisserie restored car you gotta pay big bucks. overall for my interests, from scratch is the only way to go...plus its more personal. i've been waiting my whole life for this car.the shell is in absolute mint. i personally know the guy who did the conversion. I was at his house most of the days he was doing the sandblasting and panel replacement. this thing is in absolutely pristine condition. he wanted to sell it over ebay for $15000, but since i'm a friend he's giving me a deal. its hard to pass up.and besides, a shell is the way to go, theres no way you could restore a "barn find" mustang body for that price, and a shell has no rust and no crash damage.EDIT: i forgot to mention, in order to keep reliability at a good high standard, i have considered putting a fuel injected engine in, such as the supercharged 5.4 from the Lightning, how much should this change the price? I've gotten so many different quotes on 351's that im not really sure of their average price.EDIT: (god i wish they'd just let askers reply to the answers on this site) yes it is a fastback shell, but the eleanor thing is just an idea, id install that myself, no need to take that to the shop.EDIT AGAIN: (sorry lol) my other option would be to go out and buy a 67 barn find for like $2000 or something, that already has a 302 in it, how much would something like this cost to restomod, if i were to not change anything on it but the brakes, and then have the rest of the car restored to its original condition? its another option ive got since i havent BOUGHT the shell yet. more

Resolved Question: Where can I find a full bodysuit/sports skin to fit a short person?

Re the question and answer about many divers/snorkelers being overweight -- I'm short and a bit dumpy and am trying to get a sports skin lycra bodysuit for snorkeling -- all that are ok for chest and waist and weight are much too tall. Where are all the suits for all those overweight divers? I can't find any via the internet, and nowhere here in my area of France are there any in the shops. Resolved Question: Welding a front clip on a classic car?

I have a brother in law who is an amazing welder. He has almost all the welding certifications available, including underwater, and he can even weld aluminum. The problem is he doesn't do much welding on automobiles. I need a new front clip installed on my 1967 Mustang. The problem I have is that I live in Wisconsin, where classic car shops are few and far between, and auto body shops can't be trusted with a job like this. I'm wondering if I should trust an experiences welder such as himself on a job like this. He custom made and welded new floor pan patches for this car, but that is quite different. The front end has to be square and true or it will never drive straight or support a drive train correctly. Should I trust him? Is there special tools to use during the process to make sure the new front clip, which comes in several pieces all which need to be welded together, stays perfectly square during the process? I need a lot of help with this one. Please give me some good answers. I've had this car for 7 years and only put about 1,000 miles on it because the front end is shot. I am dying to get this thing on the road more

I have downloaded loads of clothes and facial skins and stuff off a website called parsimonious, custom ones people have made. I have put them in to the SavedSims folder in my Sims 2 folders. I have played the game and they give no problems, they don't make it crash or anything, but I cannot find them. I have tried to make a sim and they aren't with the clothes there, I have taken my sim shopping and cannot find them in the clothes thing there either, how do I access them? Thanks :)I have tried everything, extracting the files into the SavedSims folder and into the donloads folder. making sure they all end in .package etc, but I still cannot find them in game play :s more

Voting Question: Why won't my Sims 2 Custom Content appear in Bodyshop or the game?

Recently, my family's computer went through a huge ordeal, and we had to uninstall my Sims 2 games (The Double Deluxe game, Pets, Seasons, and Bon Voyage) and reinstall them. I downloaded new custom content for these games, but only some of it was showing up in my game (No, it wasn't meshes or expansion pack errors. I know how to deal with that). I was frustrated that the hair and makeup and clothing wasn't working even after I enabled it and reloaded my game and bodyshop several times. I've attempted several times to fix this. One thing I did was make a copy of my Downloads folder, empty thoriginalal, and run bodyshop, then put the downloads back and running it again. It didn't work. I finally deleted all the custom content and put one eyes file into the Downloads folder. Guess what? When I ran Body Shop, it didn't show up! I'm getting so fed up with this. What should I do? more

So I've been looking into getting a good new board as the one I use at the moment is cracked and chipped everywhere as I have had it for quite a while. WSPA is working to highlight the suffering of bears on bear farms using innovative and ground-breaking tactics. Earlier this year, WSPA launched bear protein detection kits in partnership with Wildlife DNA Services, a specialist wildlife forensics organisation. The kits are currently being trialled by customs and wildlife officers in Australia and Canada and are designed to be very easy to use, working similarly to home pregnancy testing kits. Chris Gee, WSPA Bear Farming Programme Manager said: ‘WSPA investigations continue to confirm on a global level, that many bear bile products originate from China’s bear farms. Not only does bear farming give rise to illegal trade, but it is cruel, unnecessary and must end. WSPA is delighted that Animal Planet is calling attention to this.’ UK Trials UK trials have been successful – the Metropolitan Police Wildlife Crime Unit has completed a trial of the new kits and is keen to use WSPA’s new bear protein detection kits to aid their crackdown on the illegal traditional Asian medicine trade in the capital. Andy Fisher, Head of the Wildlife Crime Unit at the Metropolitan Police said: ‘WSPA gave us a number of test kits which we tried out on products that we had seized in recent raids on shops in London. We found bear bile present in a number of the medicines we had previously seized. I think we will find it really useful to have these kits with us on future raids, they will help us to do instant tests on suspicious items which we can then do further analysis on later.’ 12,000 Bears on Bear Farms Official figures show that there are at least 12,000 bears kept in bear farms throughout Asia, but WSPA believes it could be many more.
